Description
The five cent Caille Brothers’ Silent Sphinx was considered innovative because of its significantly quieter operation. This machine has an Egyptian motif, taking inspiration from the film Cleopatra (1934) directed by Cecil B. DeMille, which began production about the time Caille Brothers manufactured the Caille Silent Sphinx.
This all-original and restored machine is in very good condition and working order. This machine comes with original back door, lock and key. Only missing piece is the internal coin box. Circa 1932.
